In 2010 Serhan Oksay and I developed the IMAGES Project and directed it together till September 2013.
In all this time Serhan Oksay was a reliable partner for me, and work on our project has made as even better and closer friends in life.
In mid August 2015, just 2 weks before the IMAGES V conference was to take place in Istanbul, he died there, of cancer, at age 52.
I deeply feel the loss!
